We Care
Hospice care is a complex kind of healthcare that requires a team of professionals all working cohesively to improve the lives of the patients and their loved ones and caregivers. The team works in unison to maximize comfort for the patient with physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care.
The interdisciplinary team at Comforting Care Services is made up of licensed and certified professionals who put each patient and family’s unique needs first.
NURSES
are experienced in assessing and managing pain and are the backbone of the service provided; they provide bedside care and support.
MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKERS
are friendly and skilled professionals who can offer emotional support and help with financial issues and end-of-life planning.
PHYSICIANS
provide diagnostic support, symptom management consultation, and assist with the planning of care.
HOME HEALTH AIDES
help with personal activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
SPIRITUAL COUNSELORS
offer emotional counseling, bereavement support, and spiritual support that is needed by any patients, families, or friends.
OFFICE STAFF
help with keeping a cohesive and complete experience during our service. They are compassionate and dependable and reach out to those in our care on a regular basis to check-in and coordinate care.
VOLUNTEERS
are specially trained in hospice philosophy and are important elements of the team who are available in a non-skilled capacity to provide what they can for who they can.
